Hard to believe but it’s over 25 years since Old Tom first appeared in print.

To celebrate, Allen and Unwin have published a wonderful hard back deluxe edition of that very first book, which was also the first book which Leigh Hobbs wrote and illustrated.

Included are short essays by Leigh as well as his publisher explaining how Old Tom came into the world of children’s books back in 1994.
